Wedding Celebrant, Bernadette French LLB(Hons) has gained a wealth of experience in a career spanning 20 years in the wedding industry. Formerly a Superintendent Registrar with Hertfordshire Registration Service, she now runs her own successful and recognised business, ‘Precious Moments Ceremonies’.
Bernadette has a flair for combining tradition, with love, romance, fun, storytelling and authenticity in her creatively written wedding ceremonies. She works with couples to craft a beautiful ceremony within an atmosphere that truly reflects their individual styles and personalities.
Recognised for her own warm personality, Bernadette is able to engage with couples from all walks of life and generations, taking them on an enjoyable, stress free journey to their wedding day. She gets to know them well before the ceremony offering her help, guidance and knowledge in choosing key elements within the ceremony; such as vows, readings, music and rituals, that reflect their individual and combined beliefs.
Based in Hertfordshire, Bernadette creates and performs ceremonies in Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, London and throughout the rest of the UK and has also performed ceremonies abroad in France, Italy and New York.
She has delivered ceremonies in a wide variety of venues including rustic barns, castles, stately homes, country houses, marquees and village halls, churches and chapels, and more unusual venues including film locations, as well as in couples’ own homes and gardens, where they can make the most of a personal setting.
Bernadette instantly gives a wedding a personality of its own, by performing a meaningful and bespoke ceremony that suits couples’ unique hopes, beliefs and aspirations, free from any restrictions.
